seeing this site has made me realize i need to find something and stick with it, in my work. this is the kind of thing i would like to do with my animals. its so simple, textural, intimate. its like finally getting to see.

visit the site and use the magnifier on the moths. it is so interesting to see how fuzzy/hairy they are.

dreaming

i had a dream of a beautiful piece of art work. it had a crane that i think was dead ( in the most peaceful and tragic way) and colorful flowers in a koi pond. it was so so striking. haunting.

i saw this video and it reminded me of it.

currently reading

i can not express how much i am enjoying this book. it covers a period of time when the author moved to tinker creek and her experiences there. about really seeing the world and it inhabitants, experiencing the everyday.

....it snowed in memphis. i was at a friends bday party, that turned into a night of adventure and an unexpected slumber party. good times.
