running

since it was so cold today, there were not a lot of people on the trail.
because of this i was able to see the life out there.
i stood about 20 yards away from a white-tail doe.
after a minute or so of us looking at each other, i told her she was beautiful.
her response was a little tail shake and then a hop or two off.
as she left i saw she had at least 4 more with her.

that happened to me once before in utah.
but i was closer and there were more of them.

its such an experience to be faced with something wild.
